Windows 2000 Server is for managing
and administrating client server environments networks.
It was designed to
include the Plug-N-Play features of Windows
98 and the security benefits of Windows
NT Server.
Windows 2000 Server comes in three (3) versions; they are
Server, Advanced Server and Data Center Server. Depending on the size of your company and the type of business, you would
choose one of the three.

Passing the Windows 2000 Server exam is the
logical first step in obtaining the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
designations, as it is a core requirement of both.
